Andriy Shevchenko should return to Chelsea action on Wednesday in the Carling Cup match against Aston Villa at the Bridge.
The hit-man has missed the last two matches with a dodgy thigh strain but has trained for the last four days.
Sheva will replace Didier Drogba who will be rested for the return of Villa who, only a couple of weeks' ago, got a creditble 1-1 draw in the Premiership at Stamford Bridge.
It will also see the return of Chris Sutton, the former Blue who is starring for the Midlands side recently.
Carlo Cudicini should replace Hilario in goal to play his first match since being knocked out in the win against Reading on October 14.
Other changes will see Joe Cole return to action and Shaun Wright-Phillips given yet another chance to show his worth.
Frank Lampard and Claude Makelele will also be rested.
Wayne Bridge is expected to return to his left-back berth.
Kalou and John Obi Mikel should have another outing as Chelsea look to win for the first time this month.
Paulo Ferreira could make a start at right-back with Khalid Boulerhouz taking a centre-back slot from JT or Ricardo Carvalho.
