Sheva to go...at last

Andriy Shevchenko has been ditched by Chelsea ahead of the closing of the transfer window on Tuesday.

The Ukraine hitman has days to find a new club after coach Carlo Ancelloti confimed that Shevchenko no longer figures in his plans.
Ancelotti said ahead of tomorrow's league clash against Burnley: "We don't have news of players that will come into Chelsea, only that Shevchenko will decide to return to go to play in another team.

"I
spoke with Shevchenko, and he would like to play with continuity. Here for me it is difficult to give him this possibility to play a lot of matches and I think he will take the right decision for him.

"He will take his decision, it is not our problem, and he will choose the team that is right for him."
So there we have it. As predicted by anyone with half a brain, Shevchenko's career as a Blue is over.
His bit-part appearance against Sunderland last week the end of the road.

He scored 22 goals since being signed by Jose Mourinho/Roman Abramovich - you choose in May 2006 for £30m.
At more than £1m pound a goal, that is one monumental cock-up by Chelsea.

Will Chalsea fans view Sheva as a waste of space or just unlucky?
