Chelsea are about to launch a £30m bid for Joaquin, the Spanish winger currently playing for Real Betis, if reports from the morning press are to be believed.
Quotes from the 23-year-old star state that he could be tempted away from the Seville-based side if the money was right - isn't it always eh?
According to the Daily Mirror, Joaquin said: "I've heard the offer is very big and I know Chelsea are a very big club, but for me money was never the issue."
Yeah right...
He adds: I have always loved Manchester United but personally the main club of the last two seasons has been Chelsea."
So he wants United to come in for him, but we all know they can't afford him since the purchase of Wayne Rooney has taken up their player expenditure for next season already.
But his club sniff MONEY...
"All things are negotiable in this world," said Betis president Manuel Ruiz de Lopera.
Is he worth it? Do we need another winger?
