Speedie was, in particular, angry about Jimmy's performance in last week's 3-1 defeat against Arsenal, which has left us trophyless for a third straight season. Since joining the club, Jimmy has won only one trophy.... the Charity Shield.

Anyway, enough on Jimmy's medal count, here's what Speedie told The Sun: "For their first goal, Hasselbaink was a disgrace. You can't tell me that a man in possession of the ball can run faster than a player who isn't. He just gave up and that showed a lack of commitment.

"He is getting paid a lot of money and should be throwing himself at everything."

Are the many Chelsea fans- including myself- who didn't want Jimmy to join Barcelona now going to be having second thoughts? Not me- Jimmy will come good again. Hopefully it is sooner rather than later...
