Chelsea will be crowned Premier League champions if they beat Wigan Athletic at home this Sunday.
The Blues’s 2-0 win at Anfield on Sunday means the title is in their own hands.

AN early "mistake" by Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard saw Didier Drogba, score a crucial goal which keeps Chelsea in pole position in the Premier League and favourites to win the title.
John Terry said in a pre-match interview, that there was no chance of Liverpool rolling over and gifting Chelsea an easy win, and so it proved.
But also it was clear that there was a tiredness hangover from LIverpool’s exit from the Europa Cup the previous Thursday which the Blues took full advantage of.
Chelsea’s 3,000 supporters taunted Liverpool with a chorus of “Channel 5” throughout the game, suggesting that such is the home side’s fail from grace that will be the only place their fans will see them play European football on TV in future - Champions League is strictly ITV and Sky.
Even Liverpool club stewards were after a Chelsea victory before the match as they didn’t want their hated rivals Manchester United to pip the Blues to the title and overhaul their own 18 league titles.
Without their talismanic striker Fernando Torres, Liverpool are clearly not the same side and Liverpool lacked a cutting edge upfront to hurt the Chelsea defence.
Chelsea were solid and compact all game and this disciplined approach forced the Liverpool skipper Gerrard into making his fatal mistake. The wayward back pass was intercepted by the ever vigilant Didier Drogba, who calmly rounded Pepe Reina and stroked the ball into the back of the net.
Just before half-time Saloman Kalou appeared to be fouled by Liverpool’s Lucas and even the ever-calm Carlo Ancelotti was throwing his hands up and yelling for a penalty.
But it was not given. But on 54 minutes Nicholas Anelka’s cutback from the byline was met by the charging Frank Lampard who slotted it into the net to dispel any doubts that this was Chelsea's day.
Now the tension shifts to Stamford Bridge where Wigan will be looking to spoil the championship party on the last day of the season.
Chelsea need to win. If they draw then Manchester United also need to lose or draw for the Blues to be crowned kings.
If Chelsea loet and United draw, then goal difference will count. Currently the Blues are way ahead.
If Chelsea lose and United win, then the title will stay in Manchester for the fourth season in a row.
