Terry Looking For Title Tilt

Terry ended months of speculation about his future on Wednesday when he put pen to paper on a deal that will land him over £8million if he stays for the duration.

But JT insists he never even contemplated leaving, despite all of the rumours linking him with a move to Arsenal. And now that Carlton Cole has agreed a new deal, Terry is just waiting for a couple more of his buddies to pledge their futures to the club.

Terry said: "I never wanted to leave the club and I'm delighted to be here for another four years.

"I always said I wanted to stay. Consistency made us a Champions League team last season, which we deserved, but if we can sign Carlton, Eidur and William and get the backbone of the team and build, we can push for the title."
