While ChelseaTV and it’s viewers continue to debate and reflect on Chelsea's all time greatest XI, Claudio Ranieri continues to ponder the development and strengthening of his present squad .
Current murmurs suggest that Chelsea are negotiating with representatives from Real Madrid in an attempt to secure the signing of Cameroon international Geremi and Brazilian star Flavio Conceicao.
Following months of conversations with Real, Chelsea bosses have finally reached an agreement with the club over transfer terms but the deal can only be finalised if the players themselves consent to the transfer and can agree personnel terms.
It is rumoured that Geremi is likely to cost the blues £7.4 million, a figure agreed and set prior to this summer’s world cup when his value his likely to rise with Cameroon predicted to do well.
Flavio however, is set to join Chelsea on loan for one year with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Chelsea will begin talks with players agents shortly, hoping to finalise the deals within the next few weeks.
