Thomas Tuchel insists he's 'committed' to Chelsea

Thomas Tuchel has insisted that he is 'committed' to Chelsea amid uncertainty over who will buy the club.

Three consortiums are currently in talks over buying the Blues, but with a decision yet to made, there is uncertainty over the futures of some of the club's key players and their manager.

Some of that uncertainty has been squashed by Tuchel this week, as he said he is 'looking forward' to the future with Chelsea.

"It's very important for me to give a message: I’m committed, I’m looking forward to it and I’m passionate about it," the German explained.

Tuchel also discussed Antonio Rudiger's decision to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer, and the possible changes that could be made to the squad in the future (quotes via club's official website):

"We have to accept it, and we will accept it. There will be life at Chelsea after Toni. Now the most important thing is it ends like it has been for the last one-and-a-half years, on the highest level possible.’

"I will try to push the squad to the limit. It was a pleasure every day with Toni. We have still big things to achieve.

"From pre-season next season life will go on, if we like it or not, and we will give our very best. I will be fully involved with all my heart and all my knowledge."

Chelsea face off against Manchester United on Thursday evening, knowing that a win will all but secure a third place finish.
