It is yet another tedious transfer saga this summer involving Man United, and it is another that they may end up the losers in.
United eventually sold David Beckham this summer after first agreeing a deal with Barcelona. However, Becks turned this down, deciding to join Real Madrid instead. The Madrid deal was worth far less than United could have made from Barca.
Then, the Ronaldinho saga. This was ongoing for well over a month. United seemed to have reached agreement with the player on numerous occasions. However, PSG wanted a lot more money than United were willing to offer for the Brazilian, allowing Barca to nip in and sign the Brazilian. Both PSG and Ronaldinho have since blasted United regarding the deal.
Now, we have the Juan Veron saga. It seemed as if the deal would go through weeks ago once it became apparent United wanted to sell him. Wage demands from Veron were apparently the stumbling block. Sir Alex Ferguson has since insisted that he wants Seba to stay and that any deal would be done behind his back.
But Veron's agent is adamant that his client would happily move to Chelsea, whilst cleverly not burning bridges with United by insisting that the Argentinian would be more than happy to stay at Old Trafford.
Here's Fernando Hidalgo's latest comments: "We are waiting for a decision from Sir Alex Ferguson and Peter Kenyon. If Manchester United do not want to sell Seba then that's ok because he is very happy at the club.
"Equally, if they do want to sell him, then that is fine because Chelsea are a big club. It is United's decision and we will accept anything they say, but we would not have been talking to Chelsea without United's permission."
What will happen next in the latest transfer saga? Well, whatever happens, let's just hope it's quick!
