And Roma have revealed that they have received bids for Emerson from various clubs... including Chelsea! However, they have no plans to sell one of their prized assets.

Roma sporting director Franco Baldini said "It's true that we have received important offers for him, not only from Chelsea. But we will give everyone the same answer: This season Emerson won't move.

"But the thing that bothers us is when the player is contacted personally and not with his club. We are not going to ask for Fifa help, but this thing has to be stopped. Roma want to extend the contract with him; we will speak about it soon," he added.
