Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed that Chelsea will win the champions league this season.
The final, in Munich in May next year will see the Blues crowned champions of Europe.
In a packed press conference following Chelsea's arrival in Kuala Lumpur ahead of their 15-day Asia tour, The rookie Chelsea manager said:
"In the next year for sure the trophy will arrive in this club,
"Chelsea have been in a couple of semi-finals and also one final in recent times. I don't see why we can't go on to win it."
Well that is a slight departure from the message given to reporters in recent weeks, and it's one that will follow him all season.
Chelsea will play a Malaysia XI on Thursday.
Then it's off to Hong Kong, to play a match against local side Kitchee, then either Blackburn Rovers of Aston Villa.
By that time Villas-Boas will have made his mind up about players he wants to keep and wants to ditch.
The transfer window ends on August 31.
