The midfielder playmaker has been heavily linked with a ?35m move to the Premier League this summer after two years with the Italian giants.
But the Champions League winner has delivered a stunning snub to his suitors.
Staying put? Wesley Sneijder has claimed he is happy to stay in Italy despite interest from the Premier League
'At the moment I am very happy here and I don't see why I should leave,' he told Inter's official website.
'There is a family atmosphere at Inter and there are all the ingredients to aim high. Milan is marvellous, picturesque and full of elegance. I love it.'
Costly business: Sneijder was expected to command a ?35m fee if he left the San Siro this summer
The 27-year-old Dutch international joined Inter from Real Madrid in 2009 and helped the Nerazzurri win the Champions League, Serie A and Coppa Italia in his first season in Milan.
Injuries hindered the former Ajax star last season however, and he scored just four goals scored in 25 league appearances as Inter finished runners-up in the league.
Sneijder is under contract with Inter until June 2015 but has reportedly been identified by United boss Sir Alex Ferguson as the ideal replacement for the retiring Paul Scholes.
United bound: Ashley Young (right) is expected to complete his move to Old Trafford
But the Old Trafford club are set to clinch the signing of Aston Villa forward Ashley Young and are also keeping tabs on Tottenham's Luka Modric and Arsenal's Samir Nasri.
Potential Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink was reported to have told Blues owner Roman Abramovich that he was top of his transfer wish list while Manchester City are also believed to be keen and would be prepared to meet Sneijder's reputed ?200,000-a-week wage demands.
