Petr Cech- Made a couple of outstanding saves and, once more, kept a clean sheet! Teams just don't look like scoring against him. 8
Glen Johnson- Bad mistake to give away the penalty but, other than that, a solid performance by Glen. Showed his defensive qualities are more than equipped for Champions League football. 8
John Terry- Immense! 9
Ricardo Carvalho- Showed on more than one occasion that he wasn't just signed for his pace. Read the play superbly on several occasions and, alongside JT, they didn't look like getting beaten! 9
William Gallas- Slightly subdued performanced, defended well as ever but didn't get forward enough. The reason? Willy was carrying a slight knock and was subbed early in the second half! 8
Claude Makelele- Mr Consistency himself was in fine form tonight. Marshalled the midfield well, would have wanted more of the ball but, under the circumstances, he was very efficient. 8
Scott Parker- Great performance! His job was to look after Glen Johnson and he did a great job of it. Used the ball excellently, tackled with real bite and had a swagger about him that suggested he was here with only winning in his mind! 9
Frank Lampard- Not as prominent as he can be, but still a good performance from the man who doesn't have bad games! Unlucky with one shot but didn't get forward as much as he would have liked. 8
Damien Duff- Caused CSKA trouble when he got the ball but at times he just didn't get involved enough. Great assist for Robben's goal though, doing what he is paid to do! 8
Arjen Robben- Electrifying! Ran his heart out for the cause, even when he didn't have the ball. But when he did have it, he was a joy to watch. And what a goal! I've heard people say he's going to be special... He is special! 9
Eidur Gudjohnsen- At times held the ball up superbly, only to play the wrong ball. Still, Eidur's form is much improved from earlier in the season and he deserves credit for this performance as he worked very hard without reward. 8
