Chelsea cruised past champions leicester city 3-0 at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

Goals from Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Victor Moses were enough to see off disappointing leicester City.

The return of Claudio Ranieri, ex-Chelsea boss was a bit of a damp squid from the Chelsea fans, lucky the on the pitch action more than made up for it.

Eden Hazard missed a fine chance on three minutes, Victor Moses then forced a corner following a smart save by Kasper Schmeichel.
The resultant kick, on seven minutes, by Hazard saw the ball back-heeled on at the near post by Nemanja Matic and, free at the far post was Diego Costa, who drilled home a close-range left footer into the back of the net.
A brilliant defence-splitter by ex-Fox N'Golo Kante to Hazard almost saw number two, but the Belgium's volley was wayward.
David Luiz produced a wonderful piece of genius on 28 minutes when his 25-yard free-kick dipped remarkably at the last second and smacked off the angle of post and crossbar with Schmeichel beaten all ends up.
A defensive cock-up and a slice of luck saw the Blues double the score on 33 minutes. Hazard took full advantage of a loose ball from a clash betwen two leicester players. A fortunate knock-on, then saw the midfielder free to race into the penalty area, round the outcoming goalkeeper and sloth the ball into the empty net.
He then produced a sign with his hands to denote 22, the shirt number of his colleague Willian, whose mother died this week.
There's were no changes from either side at half-time.
Both side had early penalty shout, and both dismissed by referee Andre Marriner.
The visitors had their best spell of the game after the restart and Marc Albrighton's shot, while clear over Thibaut Courtois's crossbar, signalled a period of danger for the Blues.
But on the counter-attack, Chelsea can be devastating and a break on 57 minutes almost reaped dividends. A fabulous 50-yard run by Kante saw the Leicester City rearguard exposed. He passed to in-ruining Moses, who took a daisy-cutting first-time drive from 30m yards, but Schmeichel was equal to the task, and parried the ball away.
Chelsea had a stroke of luck on 64 minutes when just as it looked like Jamie Vardy was about to tap home from close range, Luiz stuck out his left leg to deflect the ball out of the striker's path but the ball went goal-bound, but the ball rebounded off the upright.
Conte replaced Pedro for Nathaniel Chalobah while Ranieri took off Musa and Schlupp for islam Slimani and Riyad Mahrez.
It was Chalobah's home debut.
A last ditch block by Wes Morgan denied Kante scoring on 73 minutes. But it was the sideshow of Costa demanding Conte to replace him that took the eye.
But with 11 minutes a wonderful one-two with Chalobah saw Moses drive the ball home for number three.
That was the wing-backs final action as he was replaced by Ola Aina. Ruben Loftus-Cheek took Hazard's place at the same time.
The Blues then game-managed the final minutes.
Up next for the Blues the return of the Special One Jose Mourinho with Manchester United next Sunday.
